Polson Higgs offers a wide range of different training products that includes Seminars, Webinars, In House Training and Recordings.
Our general terms and conditions, unless specifically excluded, apply to the delivery of all our training products.
All of Polson Higgs training products are provided subject to these terms and conditions. When you register or purchase you agree to and accept these terms.
From time-to-time we may have a pre-release offer of a training product with reduced pricing or different terms. Those pricing and terms are unique to that pre-release and will expire at the end of the offer.
You can pay for all training products by credit card or invoice. If paying by invoice the payment must be made 10 days from the date of the invoice. Should debt recovery action be necessary, any costs will be added to your outstanding invoice.
All intellectual property rights, including copyright, patents and design arising in connection with any training product shall belong to, and remain vested in, Polson Higgs.
On occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a training product. In such circumstances you will be given as much notice as possible and either a free transfer to another training product date or a full refund of fees paid.
Along with the General terms and conditions above, these specific terms apply to the Webinar training product.
Close of registrations
Registration for attendance on our webinars is closed at 9:00am on the day of the presentation of the webinar.
All webinars are fully refunded if cancellation is required before the webinar presentation.
In House Training
Along with the General terms and conditions above, these specific terms apply to the In-House training product.
As each In-House training product is unique to a specific client, Polson Higgs may create specific terms and conditions for its delivery. Such specific terms or conditions will be included in the proposal for the In-House training products.
Along with the General terms and conditions above, these specific terms apply to the Recording training product.
Recordings may only be purchased by credit card. If you wish to pay by invoice you must contact Polson Higgs prior to the purchase to have it authorised.
Along with the General terms and conditions above, these specific terms apply to the Seminar training product.
Close of registrations
Registration for attendance at a seminar closes three (3) working days prior to the delivery of the seminar. In some circumstances we may be able to receive late registrations up to one working day prior to the date of the seminar; however, this is at the sole discretion of Polson Higgs. Numbers may be limited at some venues.
Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your seminar and are unable to transfer your booking to another date or person at the time of cancellation, the following charges will apply:
- A full refund will be offered if the seminar, or if a participant notifies us in writing of their withdrawal from the seminar at least five (5) working days prior to the seminar.
- No refund will be made if less than five (5) days’ notice of withdrawal is received. Polson Higgs reserves the right to cancel any seminar and notify participants accordingly.
If you do not attend a seminar, and you have not previously informed us within the five (5) day notice period (see Cancellation/Refund Policy), the full seminar fee remains payable.
Seminar Transfers/Transfers to substitue attendee
If you wish to send a substitute attendee in your place there is no additional cost; however, we ask that you advise us so we can notify the presenters and update our records.
Should circumstances mean that you need to transfer to another Polson Higgs seminar; the following charges will apply, dependent on notice give:
- First transfer (similarly priced seminar, space permitting), made more than five (5) working days prior to the course start date - no charge
- Less than five (5) working days’ notice given - 50% of the course fee
- All transfers must be taken within a period of six months.
