Jamie is a Partner working in our Accounting Solutions division, he works with a wide variety of both commercial and rural clients. He has experience in annual and management accounting as well as taxation, budgeting, payroll, business management and structures. Jamie has a particular interest in the property, transport and hospitality sectors as well as business software solutions.
In recent years Jamie has been involved in the startup community and has been working as a facilitator for the Co.Starters programme run by Startup Dunedin. He likes being able to add value and help as a business grows from an idea to a fully-fledged operation. Jamie enjoys being part of the journey and see the passion the founders have for their products.
Jamie is originally from Invercargill but has stayed in Dunedin after graduating from the University of Otago. He joined Polson Higgs in 2010 after returning from his OE. Jamie enjoys travelling, walking and house renovating. He is also an avid reader and likes to spend time with family and friends.
