Tom is an Associate who leads the Rural team and is involved in preparing farm accounts and budget work within our firm.
Growing up in North Otago, Tom has developed a passion for farming having had experience on dairy, sheep and beef farms. He takes a particular interest in working closely with our rural clients to utilise budgeting software, focusing on tracking performance and improving profitability.
Moving to Dunedin to study accounting, Tom graduated from Otago University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Commerce, gaining his Chartered Accountant qualification in 2015. When outside the office, Tom’s main passion is venturing into tussock country around Dansey’s Pass with deer dogs, Sam and Mac, for a hunt. He also enjoys spending time on Lake Benmore with friends and family for a fish, or biscuit war.
