Polson Higgs

Fiduciary Duty

Where you see the designation AIF® alongside a Polson Higgs Wealth Management adviser’s name it means they are an accredited investment fiduciary and are trained and accredited in best practice by fi360 Australasia Limited.

fi360 is an independent body who have defined a set of practices to promote fiduciary standards for three classes of people:

  • Stewards
  • Advisers
  • Fund Managers

‘Stewards’ are those that are legally responsible for managing investment strategy and this includes those who act as trustees and/or who sit on investment committees.

As fiduciaries we adhere to a range of practices, two of which can be summarised as:

  1. We put the interests of our clients ahead of our own interests
  2. We disclose all potential conflicts of interest

Polson Higgs Wealth Management makes a written commitment of its fiduciary duty to all its clients.
