Course Description
- What is performance management? Understanding the Performance Management Process
- How to run an effective performance interview
- Giving and receiving positive feedback
- Giving feedback for improvement
- Courageous conversations about performance
- Requesting a change in behaviour using the DESC model
- Fine tuning your assertiveness.
This element incorporates use of an instructional video and role playing interview scenarios.
- How to write effective SMART objectives
- Examining each of the SMART components
- Aligning individual objectives to organisational goals and strategy
- Objective setting for manual jobs.
This element will include objective writing exercises and review activities for participants.
All participants will receive a resource kit covering the material used in the workshops which can serve as a reference document for them on their return to the business.
