Phillip's area of expertise is in business development, strategic and business planning and corporate training. Based in the Christchurch office, he takes an active role in the business advisory area , including business appraisals and due diligence assignments. In addition, Phillip is actively involved with the Maori Business Facilitation Service ("MBFS") for the Canterbury/Westland region.  Phillip also advises a number of New World Supermarkets and 4 Square business under the Foodstuffs (SI) Limited Co-operative.

In 2003 he received the National Award for the Young Chartered Accountant of the Year awarded by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand.

Phillip is married to Bridget and enjoys a busy family life with three young boys. His interests include hunting, fishing and music. Phillip is also actively involved in his local church Grace Vineyard.
