Suzanne is a chartered accountant with 20 years experience in a wide variety of industries and has been with Polson Higgs for the past six years. She is passionate about Maori economic development and works within Te Ao Maori as a business mentor and advisor. Suzanne has also developed and delivered training courses including Maori Trustee Training and other governance and business related resources. She is an executive member of Kati Huirapa ki Puketeraki runaka, treasurer of the Ngai Tahu Maori Law Centre, vice-chair of the National Maori Accountants network (Nga Kaitatau Maori o Aotearoa), part of the management committee for Te Whare Pounamu; Women’s Refuge, and a trustee of the Rakiura Maori Land Trust.
