Shane is the IT Manager in our Information Technology division, which he has led since 2001. He has extensive experience in IT, with particular skills in both information systems consulting and information technology reviews. As a chartered accountant, Shane also has an excellent understanding of the close relationship between information technology and the accounting profession. He also has a keen interest in training and has previously lectured in accounting information systems at the University of Otago. He presents IT training to other divisions within Polson Higgs and has previously presented courses to NZICA on IT topics. Shane has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Otago. He is married and has two teenage children. Outside work, Shane is Chairman of the Taieri College Board of Trustees and is also the President of SeniorNet Taieri Inc.
