Drew Herriott

Drew is a chartered accountant and has spent the last 20 years specialising in tax. He has a particular interest in the taxation of investments, including property, equities and managed funds. Drew spent a number of years as the tax manager for a large international insurance and investment company. He was responsible for the implementation of the Portfolio Investment Entity and Foreign Investment Fund rules and chaired the tax committee of the Investment Savings and Insurance Association during this time. Drew joined Polson Higgs, relocating from Wellington, where he had worked for IRD, an insurance/investment company and another chartered accounting practice. Drew graduated from Lincoln University with a double major in accounting and valuation/property management.
