Prior to moving to New Zealand in 2002 Bernie had a successful career with the Land Registry in the UK.  Before joining Polson Higgs she worked for several large organisations including the University of Canterbury and Statistics New Zealand where she was part of the team who delivered the 2006 Census.  Bernie has a wealth of experience in all areas of administration including Change Management and Business Excellence with a keen eye for process improvement. She holds a postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies from Leicester University with specific interest in Organisational Culture, Structure and Leadership. Her interests include keeping fit and reading.  When family commitments allow, she enjoys photography and getting out and about the New Zealand countryside.
