Small business owners are invited to attend ACC's free workshops around the Southern Region. The aim of the workshop is to improve business understanding of ACC, and help businesses get the best value from their ACC levies.

This workshop is ideal for small business owners and people new to business.

The workshop will cover: 

  • ACC Cover for People in Business : What ACC does and does not cover, workplace and non workplace injury, services and entitlements
  • ACC Overview for the Small Business Owner : Getting the right Classification Unit, full time vs. part time, passive vs. active income, minimums and maximums, invoice timing, how to read your ACC invoice.
  • ACC Cover Plus Extra : Eligibility, an overview and comparison with other ACC offerings, summary of key benefits, examples, and the application process.
  • Ways to Save : ACC discount options, no claims discount and experience rating.
